This is my first attempt at creating a look for muslim women who wear hijab.This long sleeved maxi dress is a  great option for muslima's who want to  dress modestly but desire to look beautiful as well.Teem it with an animal print blazer to make it more interesting. Wrap your head with this beautiful horizontal striped hijab and add a brooch to make it more stylish.Accessorise the dress with this very pretty long multi coloured neckpiece.Complete the look by sporting these very stylish gladiator  high heeled sandals and carry an over sized green clutch to add colour to the outfit.

Five things you will never find in my closet!!!

I am 64 kgs, so obviously i am not a size zero. So i will never even dream of sporting these styles (well,maybe in dreams!!!), because i know for a fact that they will make me look bigger than i am and will add volumes to me.So though i love these styles but i stay away from them because they do not suit my particular body type.Its very important to dress for your body type, wear clothes that help you accentuate your assets and hide your flaws.I do not follow trends just because a high end  fashion magzine says so, i like to wear clothes that give me confidence and bring out the best in me.Everybody desires to look good and your clothes can help you achieve that.So choose what you wear very wisely.

On my trip to jaipur, i came across this beautiful shop selling the most coveted craft of Jaipur, the blue pottery.Blue pottery is turko-persian in origin but now jaipur is famous for this art form.The shop owner was very welcoming and gave us a lot of insights about this  gorgeous craft.I was truly mesmerized by its beauty.If you are planning a  trip to jaipur definitely put this on your wishlist, you will most definitely thank me for it.

To welcome the year 2012 in style i had my dress,clutch,shoes and neckpiece ready, now i wanted to complete the look with a pair of beautiful earrings, so i decided to head towards lokhandwala complex.Lokhanwala is located in Andheri(West).You can catch a lot of television stars shopping from this area.

If you are a fashion junkie and desire for the latest in fashion, then this is definitely the place for you.The street is lined with fashion stores, Mini's, gowns, dresses, colored pants,tops, bags, clutches, jewellery, shoes, lingerie.....................you name and its here.This is a shopping haven for women of all ages!!!

 If you are a fashionable man and want to step out in style, then visit this complex, as you will find some very stylish shirts,waist coats,quirky t-shirts,jackets,shoes,bandana's,latest bags,eyewear and so on.This market is very high on fashion and i am assuring you that you will not leave this place without buying something.

After a lot of hunting, i finally found my special pair of earrings!!! This shop by the name of "Elle" has a beautiful collection of imitation jewellery, i am definitely going back to buy some more pieces.Lokhandwala has for sure become my favourite shopping jaunt.I enjoyed my day on this very fashionable street.Will be back soon for more shopping.Till next time...................Happy Shopping.
